Thomas Hubert Coston

Thomas Hubert Coston, age 98 of Maryville, TN passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Tom was born to Thomas and Dovie Coston on December 11, 1925 in Westel, TN. He was a World War II veteran serving a total of 34 years combined in the US Navy, Air Force, and Air National Guard.  He is preceded by his loving wife, Irene Coston; sons, Jerry Coston and Denver Coston.  Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa Gilley (Paul), Sharon Henry (Mike); grandchildren, Jake Coston (Leah), Morgan Hurst (Sara), Parker Saine (Kelly), Kyle Knight; great grandchildren, Alexis and Reyna Coston; several nieces and nephews. Tom was an avid gardener who loved to share his produce with his friends and neighbors. He enjoyed helping his grandkids more than anything and they held a special place in his heart. He like to spend time with his four-legged buddies, Bodie and Stella who was the love of his life for the last year of his life.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
