Thelma Lois LeQuire

Lois Shields LeQuire age 84 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. After graduating from Everett High School, Lois worked 18 years as a key puncher in Alcoa’s payroll department where she formed and enjoyed good and lasting friendships. She was preceded in death by her parents Toy & Edna Shields; husband, Arnold LeQuire; brother, W.R. Shields; brother-in-law, William McClure and nephew, Tom McClure. Survivors include her sister & caregiver, Margaret McClure; sister-in-law, Jackie Shields; brother-in-law, Gene LeQuire and wife, Jo; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service at 7:00 pm with Rev. Greg Long officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, 503 Pleasant Hill Rd., Maryville, TN 37803.
