Terry Lynn Cummings

Terry Lynn Cummings, age 60 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 at UT Hospital with his girls by his side. Terry’s passion was his family and restoring old cars. Terry was a simple man who never needed the fame. All he needed was a vision and his hands. Terry was a mentor to many and touched so many lives. His natural talent and perfection for the work he did was known all around and undeniably the best.

Terry is preceded in death by his father, Chester Cummings and brother, Tracy Cummings. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Earlean Cummings; daughter, Lacie Hatcher and husband, Timmy Hatcher; daughter, LaRanda “Roo” Richerson and husband, Hamp Richerson; daughter, LaShala Cummings and boyfriend, Ryley Herron; grandchildren, Harlyn Nelson, Paizley Hatcher, Holtyn Hatcher, Bryson Hatcher, Caleb Hatcher, Jamey Sparks; mother, Rowena Cummings; brother, Tim Cummings; many precious aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and too many special friends to mention.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Smithview Pavilion, 601 Smithview Dr. Maryville, TN 37803 on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM with a service to follow at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made directly to the family at the service.
