Sylvia M. Johnson

Sylvia Miller Johnson, age 71, of Maryville, TN, departed this earth to be with her heavenly father on Monday, June 14, 2010. She possessed a sweet, gentle spirit and was special to all who knew her. She was a teaching assistant for over 25 years at Oak Grove Elementary School in Roanoke, VA. Preceded in death by: Beloved Husband, Billy Lee Johnson. Survivors include: Son, Greg Johnson of Roanoke, VA; Daughter & Son-in-law, Jenni & Eric Dickenson of Maryville, TN; Granddaughter, Emma Caroline Dickenson; a host of beloved cousins, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 18, 2010 at the chapel within Alcoa First United Methodist Church, 617 Gilbert Street, Alcoa, TN 37701 with Pastor Joe Green officiating.
