In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife and mother, Suzi was also a devoted member of Wears Valley United Methodist Church. She was always willing to reach out to new members and also ready to lend support and encouragement to those in need. She held many offices as a member of the church including president of the United Methodist Woman’s Group, led the Hospitality and Family Ministry and was a delegate at annual conferences. She generously dedicated her time to the Sevier County Food Ministry for 30 years and was on the Steering Committee. Suzi loved animals and was a regular contributor to the Sevier Animal Care Center. She was a gifted artist and painting was her true passion. She shared her talent and works of art with family and friends and loved to go to the yearly art conferences with her girlfriends. In her younger years she was a Brownie leader for her daughter’s troop. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God which she shared with those who surrounded her. Her smile brought light and love to all who knew her. She was a loyal friend.
Suzi was preceded in death by her father and mother, Walter and Elizabeth Goslowsky, along with her sister Patricia Carroll and daughter Diane Vervack.
Additionally, the family would like to give special thanks to Smoky Mountain Post-Acute Rehabilitation Center, Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center and Pastor Kenny Tucker for the exceptional care provided to our loved one. We are truly grateful.
