Sue Falls Tyler

Sue Falls Tyler, 86, of Maryville, went to her heavenly home on June 11, 2018. Sue was born to Stephen Anderson and Grace Hester Anderson on December 2, 1931, in Ducktown, Tennessee, and given the name of Billie Sue Anderson. She was a well known artist, wife and mother of three children, and seven grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren. Sue loved life, hiking in the mountains, painting scenes from her beloved Smokie Mountains, and loving her large family. Sue was co-founder of the Tuckaleechee Garden Club, where she won several awards for flower arrangements, and a member of the Tennessee Artists Association since 1977. She and her husband, GB Tyler, were members of Maryville First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Stephen and Grace Anderson, sisters Julie Gwendolyn Anderson, Frances Dee Anderson McCarter, brother Lloyd G. Anderson, Infant Falls (1955), and her husband of 28 years GB Tyler, and step son Boyd Tyler. Survivors are children Rhonda Falls Johnston (Scott), Deborah Falls Kelley (Louis), Stephen Robert Falls, and step daughters Debbie Tyler Fields, Ann Tyler Jones. Grandchildren John C. Burns, Jr. (Jennifer), Suzanne Burns Brewer, Nicole Burns Shiver (Greg), Danny M. Kelley, II (Ibolya), Julie E. Kelley Weatherford (Erik), Thaniel Fields, and Lynn Jones. Great grandchildren are Susan Bailey Radford (Billie), Steven Bailey, John Todd Burns, Majenta Burns Latham (Scott), Rian Burns (Chelsea), Adam Streety (Brandy), Andrew Robert Hamilin, Amber Hamlin Kinder, Allen Hamlin, Gregory Shiver, Jr., Tanner Anderson Shiver, Stella Alivia Shiver, Esther Weatherford, Ursula Weatherford, Nick Kelley, Hunter Kelley, Josie Kelley, Irize Kelley, and Blake Fields. She had 4 great great grandchildren Rowan Burns, daughter of Rian and Chelsea Burns, Wyatt Kinder son of Amber Kinder, Alexander and Ayden Streety sons of Adam and Brandy Streety, Caleb, and Landon Radford sons of Susan and Billy Radford. Three nieces and nephew of Atlanta, GA. A Celebration of Life will be held at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel, Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm and a service to follow at 3:00 pm. Friends and family are welcome to come by and visit, share memories, and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her name.
