Stanley Lee Ellis

Stanley Lee Ellis age 74 of Alcoa passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Alcoa First United Methodist Church, a veteran of United States Marine Corp, served in the Vietnam War and a member of the local VFW. He was retired from the US Postal Service. Survivors include his wife of 46 years Carolyn Ellis; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and John McDonell, Julie and Samuel Liford; Grandchildren, Hayden Liford and Arden McDonell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lionel and Louise Ellis, Steven and Linda Ellis; Sisters, Betty Baldwin, Nelda Craddock, and Joyce Noll. Two children in West Virginia, Connie and Sharri. The Pierce family, along with many special friends, neighbors, nieces, and nephews. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Smith Trinity Chapel with funeral service following at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Bruce Marston officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
