Sophia Pratt Edwards

Sophia “Sophie” Pratt Edwards, age 91, of Maryville, was called home to join our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Sophie recently resided at Shannondale of Maryville. She was the last surviving child of William Henderson and Martha Stooksbury Pratt. Sophie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville and Order of Eastern Star Farragut Chapter 459. Survivors include: Husband of 71 years, David L. Edwards; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Connie & Barry Sevedge and Dava & Rob Smith; Grandchildren, Jennie Angel & husband Jose, Daniel Sevedge & wife Monica, Brandon Sevedge & wife Gina; Great-Grandchildren, Oliver Angel, Koen Chacon, and Addie & Jack Sevedge. A Celebration of Sophie’s Life will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. Gathering of family and friends to honor Sophie’s life will be from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM, Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Life Event Center.
