Silas E. Beeler, Jr.

Silas Estal Beeler, Jr., age 82 of Greenback passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the family home. He was a Deacon and Charter Member of Niles Ferry Baptist Church. S.E. retired from ALCOA and was a member of their 25-Year Club. Survivors include: Wife of 58 years, Mary Nell Beeler; Son & Daughter-in-law, David & Carrie Beeler of Chattanooga; Daughters and Sons-in-law, Sandy & Ira Massie of Greenback, Brenda & Jim Rhyne of Greenback, and Christina & Loren Ozanne of Szczecin, Poland; Grandchildren, Tara & Isaac Massie, Daniel, Andrew, and Gabriel Beeler, Jake & Sarah Rhyne, Clay & Hannah Ozanne; Step Grandchildren, Emma & Justin Bonnick; Brother & Sister-in-law, Warren & Ruth Beeler of Cleveland, TN; Sister, Joy Beeler Browning of St. Petersburg, FL. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, April 24, 2009, at Smith West Chapel with Rev. David Beeler officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Oakland United Methodist Church Cemetery in Greenback for the interment.
