Shirley Petruska

Shirley Petruska age 65 of Walland, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2011 unexpectedly at her home. She was a lifelong caregiver with a special love for people and animals. She was devoted to her Lord and Savior. She loved nature, genealogy, antiquing and exploring in her beloved Smokey Mountains. Survivors include her sons, Darryl Petruska and special girlfriend, Paulette Ott of Lousiville, CO and Richard Zeller & wife, Kim of Kenosha, WI; grandchildren, Nolan Petruska, Matthew Zeller & Ryan Zeller; sisters, Louis Smith, Ruby Rymill, June Wilson & Carolyn Quigley; several nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends from 5pm until 7pm Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Smith West Chapel. Funeral service will be at 7:00pm with Eric Hill and Ryan Hill officiating. Family & friends will assemble at 10:00 am Friday, June 3, 2011 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Townsend, for the interment. Memorial donations may be made to the Blount County Animal Shelter.
