Shirley "Jean" McClanahan

Shirley “Jean” McClanahan age 65 of Maryville passed away after a courageous 5 year battle with ovarian cancer. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and retired from IJ Company. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Luna Heck and her mother-in-law, Mary McClanahan. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Victor McClanahan, Sr.; sons and daughter-in-law, Victor McClanahan, Jr., Brad and Tabatha DeLozier all of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Hollie and Tim Hissam of Knoxville. The joy and love of her life was her grandchildren, Mason McClanahan, Anderson DeLozier and Reed Hissam; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Sharon Heck of Seymour; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ruth and Teddy Guy; lifelong special friends, Linda Tackes and Janet Waters. Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2016 at Smith Trinity Chapel with funeral service to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Greg Long officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2016 at Grandview Mausoleum for the entombment.
