Sherrye Fordham

Sherrye Cannice Fordham age 41 of Straw Plains, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2011. She attended Kidwell Ridge Baptist Church. She worked for Finkelstein, Kern, Steinberg, and Cunningham Law Firm. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend with a deep devotion to her children, family, and home. She will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by: Step-Father, Raymond Payne Papa; Father-in-law, Robert Thomas; Grandfather, James Ford Sr.; Grandmother, Hattie Rose. Survivors include: Husband, Marty L. Fordham; Daughters, Marlia Sherrye Fordham, Racquel Cannice Fordham, and Harley Cheyenne Fordham; Grandfather, Clarence Hancock; Grandmother, Mae Ford; Mother, Alma Payne; Father & Step Mother, James & Mary Jo Ford of Prattville, AL; Brothers-in-law, Dale Thomas Fordham and Dewayne Edward Fordham; Sisters, Connie L. Ford, Dawn Payne, Nikki Helton & husband Phillip; Step Brother, Dewayne Isabell & wife Stephanie of Prattville, AL; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of other family members. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Smith West Chapel. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
