Shelby Jewell Chapman, age 67 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Springview Baptist Church; a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence W. Blair; 4 infant brothers and sisters, niece, Missy McCall Giles. Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Don & Missy Chapman of Loudon, Doug & Teresa Chapman of Maryville; grandchildren, Shawn Chapman, Casey Wilkerson, Jeremy Chapman, Nick Chapman, Nicole Wilkerson, Corey Chapman, Zack Chapman, Courtney Chapman; mother, Mayme Blair; brothers & sisters, Marvin Blair, Robert Blair & wife Joan, Christine Kelso & husband David, Patricia McCall & husband Darrell “Red�?, Martha Harrison & husband Dave, Paul Blair & wife Ann; numerous nieces & nephews, former spouse, Leroy Chapman; uncle, Elige Jr. Blair; special friend, Joe Benson. Funeral service 8:00 pm Sunday, January 3, 2010 Smith West Chapel with Elder Ricky Wiggins officiating. Interment 12:00 pm Monday, January 4, 2010 at Hopewell Cemetery.
