Sharon Ruth Robson

Sharon Ruth Walker Robson, age 67 residing in Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at U.T. Medical Center. Sharon was a Christian of the Baptist faith and was retired after a longtime devoted career with Social Services assisting handicapped individuals. She was a loving and selfless individual who always made herself available for anyone that she could assist. She had a treasured bond with her special daughter, Linda Rose which developed Sharon’s desire to help those with special needs. She loved spending time with family, working on crafts, and had a passion for cooking. Sharon was a loving and devoted mother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew her. Preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Headrick Walker and Edith Rose Walker, her brother, John Daniel Walker and sister-in-law, Louie Pyatt Walker. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Rose Blakley of Knoxville; sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and David Coppinger of Maryville; brother, Richard G. Walker of Townsend; special first cousin, Frances “Polly” Hall of Powell; several special nieces, nephews, and other family also survive. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church of Townsend with a Celebration of Sharon’s life to follow at 2:00 PM with Elder Chester Hembree officiating. The committal service and burial will follow there at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
