Sharon Lee Franseen

Sharon Lee Franseen, age 83 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at the family home.  Sharon was a member of Monte Vista Baptist Church.  She enjoyed and was so very talented at making jewelry and sewing.   She was an extraordinary cook who kept her family well fed.  She was a volunteer serving the Salvation Army for many years.  Sharon was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Cora Bartlett and brother, Jerry Bartlett.  She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Herbert W. Franseen; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Barbara Franseen of Collierville, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and James Webb of Maryville; grandchildren, Joshua and Amy Lawson of Knoxville, Jeané Franseen of Orlando, Florida, and Julian Franseen of Thompson’s Station, TN; great-grandson, Connor Lawson of Knoxville; sister, Cynthia Kennedy of Indiana; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Cheryl Bartlett of Davenport, Iowa; many nieces, nephews and other family also survive.   The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service.
