Master Sergeant Oscar Bert Chandler

Master Sergeant Oscar Bert Chandler (Retired) age 91 of Maryville died Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was retired from the United States Air Force and a member of the Order of Amaranth and the White Shrines. Preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Chandler; son, Joseph Berton Chandler; brother, Andrew Pope Chandler; sister, Ora Wright. Survivors include son, Donald Chandler of Jefferson City; grandchildren, Mary Williams, John Chandler, Donald Andrew Chandler, Sara Cain, and William Chandler; eight great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be at 5:00 p.m. Sunday May 24, 2009 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Pastor David Goff officiating. The Interment will be on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, TX.
