Sean Mandigo (Mango) born July 23, 1976 in West Palm Beach, FL, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Blount Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Sean exemplified the Tim McGraw song “Live Like you were Dying.�? From his first diagnosis at 21 until his death, he took advantage of all life had to offer. He loved his friends and he loved his family. Most of all he loved his faithful companion, his dog, McKenzie. He attended Rio East and was a veteran of the United States Army. Sean was an electrician and enjoyed surfing and skateboarding. Survivors include: Mother, Patricia (Hartmus) Mandigo; Father, Roger Mandigo; Grandmother, Elizabeth Mandigo; Uncles & Aunts, Scott & Terry Mandigo and Paul & Linda Mandigo; Cousins, Kristi, Kati, & Kelli Mandigo; Special friends in Florida, Stacy Blum, Jeremy Loper, Robb & Jessica Mitten, Ryan McJury, Dr. Juan Sanchez, and Cory (others too numerous to mention); Friends in Tennessee, Macie & RC Mullins, Pastor Dale Buchanan & Teresa, Wilma & Bob Roy, The Wards, The Nortons, The Bozzones, and The Rapers; Special friends, Carrie McClain and Matt Glaspie. Thanks to Hospice and Palliative Care in Maryville, Tennessee for all they did for our family. Memorial service will be at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Rio East 1412 East Broadway, Maryville, TN 37804 with Rev. Dale Buchanan officiating.
