Saranna Marie Simmons

Saranna Marie Simmons, 21, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016. She was born in Scottsdale, Arizona, to Walter and Leatha Simmons on June 13, 1995. Saranna was one of the most beautiful people inside and out that you would ever meet. She would light up a room with her loving personality; she was a very loving daughter and sister; she loved her friends and their babies; and she was a huge animal lover, especially of cats. She was well on her way to building her career as a hair stylist and she had the sweetest, biggest heart of anyone we have ever known. She is survived by her beloved Daddy, Mommy, and Sister, Walter, Leatha, and Sasha; paternal grandmother, Marcella Burchett; her uncles and aunts, Scott and Laurie, Gene and Gloria, Mick and Maureen, Patrick and David, Michael and Linda, J.T. and Terri, and David and Julie; and her cousins Kelsey, Tyler, Gene, R.J., Brandon, Amber, Preston, Stacia, Tyler, Krista, Amber, Allisa, and Andrew. Saranna was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, James Burchett, and paternal grandparents, Walter and Hannelore Simmons. A memorial service by the Rev. Robert Freestate will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at The Life Event Center, 1404 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803. The family will receive friends at 2:30 and the memorial service will begin at 3:00. Following the service will be a toast and balloon release in honor of Saranna’s life.
