Sarah Joanne Overstreet

Sarah Joanne Harwell Overstreet, “Joanne,” age 87 of Maryville, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, December 19. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Sarah Harwell, of Houston, Texas; her sister, Lin Locher; her former husband, Dr. A. Evan Overstreet, of Louisville, Kentucky; and her son Robert Harwell Overstreet. She is survived by her daughter, Sally Massagee, of Hendersonville, North Carolina; her son Sam Overstreet, of Maryville; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be Saturday, January 2, 11:00 a.m., at Everett Hills Baptist Church, 401 S. Everett High Rd., Maryville. A light lunch reception will follow at the church.
