Sarah Belle Douglas

Douglas, Sarah Bell Johnston Jenkins age 80 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church of Louisville. She enjoyed and loved her friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Newell (Red) Jenkins and Jesse Willard Douglas; brothers, Roy, Winfred, Billy and Bobby; sister, Fannie. Survivors include daughter, Annie Russell of Crossville; sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Ellen Jenkins of Louisville and Rick and Linda Jenkins of Maryville; grandchildren, David and Tim Jenkins, Andria Russell, Joy and Kelly; three great grandchildren; brothers, Earl and Jim; sisters, Virginia, Mattie Sue, Effie Mae, Nancy, and Mary Ann; special friends, Joyce Raby, Hope Lewis and many others; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Colonial Hills for their care and support. Funeral Service will be at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Smith Mortuary with Rev. Gaye King officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Middlesettlements United Methodist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Saturday at Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.
