Sara Josephine Shipley

Sara Josephine Taormina Shipley, Maryville, TN passed away September 3, 2012 with family and friends by her side. Sara was born in Trabia, Italy on May 17, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Angelina Taormina. Preceded in death by: Husband, Charles Shipley; Sisters, Mary Maruca, Virginia Girata; Daughter, Sandra Shipley. Survivors include: Sister, Gloria Romines; Daughters and their Spouses, Nancy & Glon Lanagan, Sr. and Patricia & Philip Littlejohn; Nine Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
