Sandra C. Lovett

Sandra C. Lovett passed away peacefully at home with her best friend and daughter by her side. Sandy was an amazing person who always put others before herself. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and Bobo (grandmother) as well as friend. Sandy was a strong, caring person who was truly devoted to her family and friends. Once you were in her circle you became family and always remained there. She was known for her love of matching neon clothes and shoes and enjoyed it so much that it always brightened peoples day.  She loved life and working in her flower beds and her mother daughter days at the casino. Sandra is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Virginia Lawson; husband James Lovett; son James “Chip” Lovett; brother Lynn Lawson. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Lovett; grandson James Halcomb; chosen granddaughter Brittney Williams; chosen children Daniel (Angela) Buffalo and Mark Halcomb; brothers Ronald Lawson of St. Petersburg, FL and Mike Lawson of Athens, TN; Nieces and Nephews and several very special friends, The family will receive friends on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm in Smith’s Trinity Chapel with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7:00pm.
