Sandra Y. Hurst

Sandra Yvonne Hurst age 58 of Alcoa passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a dedicated servant to her God Jehovah and member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Maryville. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service with over 20 years of service. She had a deep love for taking care of her family first and all of the little animals that she cared for throughout her life. Preceded in death by: Parents, Donald Underwood Jr. and Anna June Carrie Bone; Sister, Cathy Underwood; Granddaughter, Mollie Wilson. Survivors include: Devoted Husband of 40 years, Gary Hurst; Daughter & Son-in-law, Carmen & Sean Wilson of Maryville; Grandchildren, the love of her life, Trevor & Tripp Wilson; Step-Father, Dewey Bone; Step-Mother, Geneva Underwood; Brothers, Ron Underwood, Don Underwood, Tim Underwood, John Underwood, Tim Headrick; Sisters, Pat Martin, Shanda Dixon, Sheila Patterson, Tina Johnson; Aunts, John & Bill; Adopted Daughter, Julie Beth Breedlove; many special nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends. The family would like to give their deepest appreciation to Dr.s’ Avery, Eapen, and Cofer as well as the staff on 3rd C. Memorial service will be at 6:30 PM, Saturday, January 8, 2011 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 1201 Middlesettlements Road, Maryville, TN with Ministers Nathan Grace and Gersome Gonzales officiating.
