Ruth B. Raines

Ruth B. (Henry) Raines age 93 passed away, Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a faithful member of Cold Springs Missionary Baptist Church for over 61 years. Preceded in death by: Husband of 66 years, Woodrow (Dock) Raines; Daughter, Evelyn F. Raines; Sisters, Grace Dunlap and Blanche Flynn; Brothers, Fred, Earl, and infant J. R. Henry. Survivors include: Daughters & Sons-in-law, Fern & Wiley Flynn, Barbara Arwood, Donna & Roy Reagan; Sisters, Viola Bowser, Nell Miller, Helen Brown, and Betty Davis; 9 Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; 11 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Special friends, Sara Adams, Gertrude Williamson, Lucille McClanahan, Nellie Cagle; Long-time Caregiver, Pat Goodson; and a host of friends and family. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. George Macht officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 10:30 AM, Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
