Ruth Ann Lark Dolan

Ruth Ann Lark Dolan, age 62, passed away in Knoxville, Tennessee on January 2, 2010. Ruth was born on February 26, 1947 in Greer, South Carolina. She worked for 30 years as a machine operator for Honeywell International. She recently retired and moved to Alcoa, Tennessee to be closer to her daughter. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kristy and Brian Best; sisters: Geraldine Duncan, Mary (Ray) Long, Cornelia Steadman, Naomi (Victor) Morgan; brothers: E.C. Lark, Edward (Sandra) Lark, Danny (Lisa) Lark; father-in-law, Robert Dolan, Sr.; sister-in-law and special friend, Dianna Lynne Wyckoff; and numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. She was preceded in death by parents, Eddie and Mozell Lark, and brother, Elford Lark. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:00 pm Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Funeral & Cremation Service. A Memorial service will start at 7:00 pm.
