Ruth Lawson Hutsell

Ruth Lawson Hutsell age 82 of Maryville went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 27, 2009. She was a member of Peck's Memorial United Methodist Church. Ruth was employed by the Bank of Maryville for 18 years. She also served as a volunteer for the American Red Cross receiving the Distinguished Service Award. She was preceded in death by parents, Raymond & Beulah Lawson; husband, Earl Wesley Hutsell. Survivors include her brother & sister-in-law, Dan & Gaynell Lawson; daughters & sons-in-law, Judy & Lynn Monday, Jill & Rick Fernandez and Sydney & Lonnie Simpson all of Maryville; grandchildren, Emily Monday Nibali & husband, Benjamin, Lacy Simpson, Wesley and Katie Fernandez; great granddaughter, Ava Faith Nibali born on "Ruthie's" birthday, August 21, 2008. Nieces and nephews-in-law, Julia Lawson, Jennifer and Mitch Moore and sons, Ian and Paul. Funeral service 8:00 pm Thursday, January 29, 2009 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Melody Kidd officiating. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, 865-983-1000.
