Russell "Ricky" Quarles

Russell “Ricky” Quarles, age 63, of Maryville, Tennessee, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019, at UT Hospital. He was a loving husband, father, Pappy, brother, and friend. He was a member of Old Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, spending time in his shop, telling stories, and helping anyone in need. Ricky loved the outdoors and was a Master Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lavert and Pauline Quarles; brother, Pete Quarles; brother-in-law, Everett Garretson. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Liz Quarles; daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Ryan McPherson and Emily and Cody Price; granddaughters, Mattie McPherson and Hallie Ann Price; soon to be grandson, James Russell Price; brothers, Sonny Quarles and Larry Quarles; sisters, Linda Walters and Peggy Ramage and a host of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2019 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Rex Everett officiating.
