Roy Reece Reneau

Roy Reece Reneau, at the age of 66, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Roy was born on July 11, 1957 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Floyd Reneau and Mildred Baumgardner Reneau Reagan. He was one of seven children. He is survived by his sister, Wilma Thayer; brother, Jimmy Reneau (Diana Reneau). Roy was a devoted husband of 20 years to his wife, Yichen Reneau and they made their home in Walland, Tennessee. He was a Division Manager at YJBM (Yamaha Jet Boat Manufacturing) and enjoyed working in his yard, landscaping, gardening, and being a handyman around the home, always working diligently on projects to improve their life and enjoyment of their home. He loved listening to music and playing his guitar. He enjoyed traveling to China where he met his wife, Yichen; and enjoyed trips they took together to China, Scotland, Thailand, Washington D.C. around the country. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, co-workers, family and friends. The family receive friends from 4:00 PM until 4:30 PM on Saturday, November 18, 2023 in Smith’s East Hall followed by a Memorial Service at 4:30 PM with Mr. Randall Tucker officiating.
