Roy Howard Johnson age 80 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lone Mountain, TN on September 29, 1928,. Roy retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. with over 40 years of service. He was a long time member of Wildwood Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Parents, William Estil & Lillie Johnson; Infant sister, Betty Johnson. Survivors include: Wife of 61 years, Eula Bundon Johnson; Sons, Ray Malcolm Johnson & wife Barbara Mize Johnson and Stanley Harold Johnson & wife Judy Godfrey Johnson; Grandchildren, Gregory Shawn Johnson & wife Pam Johnson, Brittany Nichole Johnson, and Stanley Harold Johnson, Jr.; Great-Grandsons, Twins, Mason Cole Johnson and Matthew Hunter Johnson; Brother, Charles Edward Johnson & wife Deloris Hood Johnson; Sister, Edith Johnson King & husband Robert "Buck" King; Several nieces and nephews & very special friends. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
