Roy Peter Adams

Roy Peter Adams, age 84 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the family home. Mr. Adams was retired as a Lt. Colonel from the U.S. Army and proudly served his country as an oral surgeon for 25 years including tours of duty in Vietnam. He and his wife loved to travel. Roy was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Mae Adams. Survived by his children, Tom and Valerie Adams of Clovis, CA, Tim Adams of Memphis, TN, and Christine and Jeff Carlisle of Maryville; Five grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Sally Adams of Louisville, KY, and sister, Gerry Martin of Tampa, FL. A Celebration of Roy’s life will be held at Calvary Chapel Knoxville at 3330 W Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920 on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. with Jason Brown officiating. He will be buried with his wife at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
