Ronnie Lynn Headrick

Ronnie Lynn Headrick, age 69, passed away October 21, 2022 at Blount Memorial Hospital with his family at his side.  He will be remembered for his kind and loving heart, his commitment to family, and his passion for helping others.  This passion led him to a career working in emergency medical services initially with Blount County Rescue Squad, Rural Metro, Med Flight as a flight paramedic, and finally retiring as a firefighter/paramedic at Bechtel Jacobs/K-25.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl & Roxie Headrick; grandparents, Henry & Biddy Headrick and Lee & Sadie Wilburn; infant sister, Mable Loretta, and infant grandson, Daniel Justin Headrick.  He is survived by: wife of 42 years, Karen Croft Headrick; sons, Justin (April) & Joshua (Christine); sister, Cookie Crowson (Mike); grandchildren, Hannah & Brently Headrick, Bryce & Haley Ramsey; uncle, Cliff Wilburn; beloved sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 PM with Pastor Greg Long and son, Joshua Headrick officiating.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 865-983-1000, www.SmithFuneralandCremation.com.
