Ronald Wayne Boruff

Ronald Wayne Boruff, 68, died unexpectedly January 15 at home. He was born on July 9, 1951 to Ernest and Althea (Grubb) Boruff. Ron graduated Friendsville High School in 1970, then joined the National Guard. As a guardsman, he was awarded the expert badge for the M16 rifle. Ronnie was a police officer for thirty-three years. On January 22, 1981, Ronnie married Deborah Kay Grindstaff. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Ernest, and brother, David Allen. He is survived by his wife, Debbie, his four children, Tammy, Mandy, Wayne, and Kay, mother Althea, brother Jim and sister Peggy, eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
