Ronald Glenn Akins

Ronald Glenn Akins, age 68 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024.  Ronald was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1974 to 1977 and was an ironworker in his early years.  He was retired as a long-haul truck driver after many years of service.  Ronald enjoyed working with his hands in his shop or out in his yard.  He was an avid sport shooting enthusiast and enjoyed RC cars and restoring old hot-rods with family.  He loved people and never truly met a stranger. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, and brother who will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Cora Ingram Akins.  Survivors include his sons, Chris and Brad Akins of Maryville; grandchildren, C.J.
