Romaine C. Yates, age 81 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Brookdale Sandy Springs assisted living community after a lengthy illness. She will be sadly missed and the family would like very much to thank the staff at Brookdale for the loving care she received while a resident. She is survived by: Daughter, Terry Crumpler, of the home; Step-Children, Tommy and Sherry Yates of Lenoir City; Sisters, Marlene Dunn (Pete) of Wilson, NC and Lois Rowe of Elm City, NC; Brother & Sister-in-law, James Eatman (Christine) of Deatsville, AL; brother-in-law; Sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. Private graveside service and inurnment will be held at Grandview Cemetery.
