Roberta Hackney Goble

Roberta Hackney Goble , age 76 of Maryville, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at her home. She was formerly of Marietta, GA where she was a member of Roswell St. Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Roy Lee and Frances Singleton Hackney; sister, Ruth Muncher; brothers, Bill Hackney and Howard Hackney. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Travis Goble; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Don Jones; son, Steve Goble; daughter-in-law, Teresa Goble; grandchildren, Brad Smith and wife, Angie; Stephanie Goble and Brittany Goble; great grandchildren, Conner Goble, James Smith, Eliza Smith and Lillie Mae Cochran; sisters, Jane Casey, Joy Hardin; sister-in-law, Barbara Hackney; several nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2012 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to ALS Association, Georgia Chapter, 1955 Cliff Valley Way, Suite 116, Atlanta, GA 30329 in memory of Roberta.
