Robert James Uhren

Robert James Uhren (Bob), 57, of Maryville, TN, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 in Woodway, TX. Robert was born February 2, 1959 to Robert and Frances (Majercin) Uhren in Streator, IL. He was employed by Nexeo Solutions in Knoxville, TN, as a Lead Inventory Control coordinator. He loved the outdoors and hiking through the trails of the Smokey Mountains. He also spent many hours volunteering with the Friends of the Smokies Organization. He graduated in 1977 from Mississinewa High School in Gas City, IN. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Uhren; grandparents, Andrew and Alice Uhren; and John M. and Katherine Majercin. Robert is survived by his mother, Frances Uhren; sister, Amy Uhren; one uncle and one aunt. Memorial may be made to the Friends of the Smokies Organization at www.friendsofthesmokies.org/donate.
