Robert Jones, Sr.

Robert (Bob) Curtis Jones, age 92 of Maryville passed away Monday, April 2, 2012 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Maryville Church of Christ for 69 years. Preceded in death by: Wife of 67 years, Jean Gooch Jones; Son, Rex Jones; Grandson, Greg Jones; Parents, Dan & Sarah Jones; Brothers, Jerome, Paul, Grover, Mitchell, J.D., and George Jones; Sisters, Eva Boesswetter, Louise Reed, and Anna May Roberts. Survivors include: Sons and Daughters-in-law, Don & Esther Jones, Bobby Jr., and Judy Jones, and Evelyn Jones; Grandchildren, Vicki & husband Ray Boruff, Rex & wife Christy Jones, Donnie & wife Christy Jones, Cheri & husband Curtis Wright, Josh & wife Adrian Jones, Erica Cain and Trey Cain; Great-Grandchildren, Matt, Nick, Jessica, Philip, Sean, Channing, Izabel, Anna Beth, and Garrett; Great-Great-Grandchildren, Natalie, Emily, and Christian; many nieces and nephews, church family and friends. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, April 6, 2012 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
