Robert Lee Houston, Jr.

Robert L. Houston age 85 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at his home. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in World War II and The Korean Conflict. He was a proud member of 610th Army Engineers Company. Mr. Houston retired from TVA and was a member of the IBEW for 56 years. He was a member of Springview Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: 1st Wife, Leona Houston & 2nd Wife, Blanche Houston. Survivors include: Sons and Daughters-in-law, Tony & Sandy Houston of Maryville, Don Houston of Sulpher Springs, TX, and Mike & Sandi Houston of Maryville; Grandchildren, Katelyn, Matt, Shaun; Sisters, Jackie Phelps, Geneva Bailey, Maxine Humphries & husband Cecil all of Maryville. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Mike Parker officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 31, 2008 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
