Robert Hilten

Robert Hilten age 89 of Alcoa passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at Asbury Place of Maryville. He was an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church of The Holston Conference for 40 years. Robert was very active in the Southeastern Jurisdictional Historical Society. Preceded in death by: Wife, Sarah Frances Lenoir Hilten; Sister, Eva Hilten. Survivors include: Sons & Daughters-in-law, Richard & Jeanie Hilten of Walland and Bob & Lynn Hilten of Columbus, Montana; Daughter & Son-in-law, Rev. LeNoir & Rev. Barry Culbertson; Grandchildren, Claire Starkey, Roger Hilten, Ben Culbertson, and Gavin Culbertson; Great-Grandchildren, Andrew Starkey, Jessica Starkey, and Quinn Hilten; Brother & Sister-in-law, John & Carolyn Hilten. Memorial service will be at 5:00 PM, Saturday, January 7, 2012 at First United Methodist Church of Alcoa.
