Robert Ken Henderson

Robert Ken “Squatch” Henderson, of Walland, Tennessee, departed this life Wednesday, January 18, 2023 for his heavenly home, at home surrounded by his loving family, after battling a long illness.  Ken loved hunting, gardening, and landscaping.  He was a 1998 graduate of Heritage High School and was previously employed by Blount Parks and Rec and Maryville College as a landscaper.  He has been a lifetime member of Anchor of Hope and loved playing the guitar and gospel music.  He was born October 18, 1979 in Newport, Arkansas to Robert Michael and Lillie Carol Henderson.  He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Michael Henderson; grandparents Alexander and Blanch Henderson, and Harold and Doris Harris.  He is survived by the love of his life, Kimberly Henderson; three daughters, Karyth, Karlee, and Katie Henderson; his mother, Carol Henderson of Walland, TN; brother, James Morgan (Kristin) of Baton Rough; sisters, Penny Davis (Clint) of Lenoir City, Renia Adkins (Kevin) of Maryville; father-in-law, Michael Hodge (Melinda); mother-in-law, Marlene Hodge; sister-in-law, Kelly Wheeler (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles who loved him very much.  He is also survived by his faithful best friend, Greg “Bo” Widick.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday, January 23, 2023 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with a Celebration of Ken’s life to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev.
