Robert "Bob" L. Thorpe

“Bob” Robert L. Thorpe age 65 of Maryville passed away peacefully on Friday, February 12, 2016 at UT Hospital. Bob was a graduate of Maryville High School. He worked for Delta Airlines at McGhee Tyson, Knoxville Ticket office and Knoxville Reservations and retired with 40 years of service. An avid outdoorsman, Bob loved boating, swimming, fishing, and hunting. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Pam Waters Thorpe; daughter, Glenna A. Garner; grandchildren, Ambree and Dalton Abbott; mother, Louise Jenkins; sister, Jean Behar; niece, Angela Behar Sobel; great niece, Gabrielle Sobel; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Greg and Suzanne Waters; his beloved cat, Rosie; and a host of friends.
