Robert "Bobby" Arwood

Robert "Bobby" L. Arwood age 69 of Rockford passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army. Bobby retired as an Electrician with I.B.E.W. Local 270. He was a graduate of Porter High School and a member of Rockford Masonic Lodge #469 F & AM and The Shriners Organization. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather who will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind. Preceded in death by: Parents, Condas and Ruth Arwood; Nephews, Johnny & David Arwood. Survivors include: Wife of 48 years, Sue Arwood; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Robert Neal & Tina Arwood of Knoxville and Richard Brian & Kim Arwood of Raleigh, NC; Grandchildren, Allison, Amy, Anna, & Avery Arwood, Christopher Arwood, and Nicole Arwood; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, CD & Beverly Arwood of Louisville and Angelo & Janice Arwood of Maryville; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of family and friends. Special thanks to the Staff of Blount Memorial Hospital and Davita Dialysis Center. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Buster Gibson officiating.
