Ricky Lynn Murrell age 53 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bobby L. Hammontree-Yancey; brother, Brett Murrell. Survivors include his daughter & son-in-law, Julie K. Murrell-Meadows & Randall R. Newberry, daughter, Sarah L. Murrell; 2 grandchildren, Emory Meadows & Braelyn J. Newberry; brother & sister-in-law, Kent & Stephanie Murrell; father, Dwight Murrell; nephews, Colton Murrell, Jake Murrell & Brandon Pence; aunt, Wanelle Helton; uncle, Myran Hammontree & several more cousins; former wife, Teresa Murrell; special friends, Kelly Parrott, Dave Union, Lonnie “LJ�? Moore, Doug Broadway, Kenny & April Teague, Steve Marr & Ike Williams. He will be remembered as a wonderful & loving father and a great friend.
