Rickey (Rick) Williamson age 53 of Walland, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer. He was a quiet, simple man who devoted his energy, time, and love to his family. He was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Co. where he spent most of his years at the Alcoa Terminal Railroad. He was a member of Alcoa's 25-Year Club and a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Mother, Juanita Williamson. Survivors include: ;Wife of 24 years, Lisa Williamson; Sons, Jake Gideon Williamson and Walt David Williamson of Walland; Father, Walter (John) Williamson of Walland; (twin sister), Vickie Boling & husband David of Walland; Sister, Paulette Crisp & husband James of Walland; Special Brother & Caregiver, (Wildman) Gary Williamson & wife Colette of Walland; Brother, Johnny Williamson & wife Henrietta of Maryville; Nieces and Nephews, Felice & Mitch Boling, Roxanne Wyrick, Allison & Rebecca Henry, Brad & Brock Davis, Kevin Keck, Ashley & Matthew Sawyer; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law, Russell & Mildred Myers of Knoxville; Mother-in-law, Judy Boatman of Ohio; Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law, Janet & Bruce Keck of Knoxville, Tina Sawyer of GA, and Jim & Suzie Henry; many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and great nieces and great nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Jeff Hickman officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 19, 2009 at Cold Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Saturday, April 18, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel.
