Richey Helen Heaton

Richey Helen Heaton, age 71 of Maryville, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at Asbury Place of Maryville. Mrs. Heaton was formerly a member of Unity Baptist Church and was a member of First Christian Church of Maryville. She loved singing in the choir, taught Sunday School, and was a Vacation Bible School director during her time at Unity. She loved working with senior adults and volunteered at UT hospital before her health declined. Preceded in death by her husband, Jim Heaton and brother, Ricky Rogers. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Megan Heaton of Cumming, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and Brian Hunt of Oak Ridge; grandchildren, Reagan Hunt, Madison Heaton, and Kathryn Grace Heaton; special friends, Gene and JoAnn Cable and Linda and Ronnie Parker. The family would like to extend special appreciation to Dr. Bell, Dr. Hanna, Crystal Wheelon and the staff at UT Cancer Institute and Infusion Center for the care given to Mrs. Heaton.
