Richard Lee Williams

Richard Lee “Dick” Williams, age 85 of Maryville, TN passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. Richard served in the Air Force in his early years and then worked as a Steel Worker and as a supervisor until retirement.  He started a Goldwing motorcycle chapter in Aiken, South Carolina and served as the President. Dick was a private man but had incredible generosity and kindness that he blessed his family and friends with.  He was especially proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and he loved spending time with them.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Farley Williams; son, Barry Williams; brother, Everett Williams.  Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne & Jan Williams; grandchildren, Barry Williams, II & Brooke Williams, Maria Williams (Tyler), Jennifer Williams, Victoria Williams (Matt); great grandchildren, Colton Lohr, Aria Williams, Kheslee Williams, Braden Williams, Brettley Williams; sister, Faye Williams; close friend, Kevin Blanton. Jean and Al Bowers were enduring lifetime friends and were a pillar of strength for Dick after the love of his life passed away.  The family will receive friends on Monday, October 30, 2023 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at Smith’s Trinity Chapel.  A funeral service will follow at 10:30 am officiated by Rev.
