Richard M. Robb, Jr. (Dick) age 75, of Alcoa, Tennessee, formerly of Middletown, Delaware and The Forty Acres, Wilmington, Delaware passed away Friday, December 5, 2014, from complications due to frontal temporal degeneration. Dick is survived by his wife, Judith and daughter, Ellen Robb Gibson and her husband, Mark B. Gibson, brothers Alan L. Robb and wife, Bonnie, James A. Robb and wife, Gloria, Joseph B. Robb, and wife, Kathy and Hugh G. Robb, and wife, Christi, as well as nephew Daniel Robb and nieces Heather Robb and Dixie Robb. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Dixie B. Robb and Dr. R. Marion Robb. Education included attendance at Middletown High School and graduation from Tower Hill School. Dick attended Texas Christian University and received a Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of Delaware. Dick retired from the State of Delaware, Department of Corrections, as a Probation/Parole Officer. Previous employment included working as a Teamster, driving for United Parcel Service. Following retirement, Dick and his wife, Judy, enjoyed travelling in Mexico. While living in The Forty Acres, Dick was a community activist, heading up a tree planting project throughout the neighborhood which included the planting of Kwanzan Cherry trees and Bradford Pear trees.
