Richard H. Leadbetter

Richard H. Leadbetter age 72 of Townsend passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at his home on 124 Lail Lane. He was a retired master carpenter and artist who enjoyed wood carving and painting. Preceded in death by: Parents, Herbert & Margaret A. Leadbetter; Sister, JoAnne Reed; Daughter, Scherry Turner. Survivors include: Sons & Daughters-in-law, Kenneth & Vanessa Leadbetter, David & Connie Leadbetter, Robert & Anita Leadbetter, William & Robyn Leadbetter, Edward Leadbetter & Merrily Mason; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Deborah & Dennis Brown, Tammy & Roger Jacobs, Robin & Less Moffatt; Sisters, Patti Sullivan & husband David, Dolly Camosse, and Karen Leadbetter; Brothers, Jimmy Hogan, George Hogan, and Peter Hogan; 19 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren. Memorial service will be 11:00 AM, Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Smith East Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Smith Funeral & Cremation Service to help with expenses.
