Richard Kook

Richard Kook (86), of Maryville passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Ben Atchley State Veterans Home. He was retired from Universal Label Co. and served in the U.S. Army Air Forces in England during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marie Ackerman Kook; sister, Brenda Kuehler of Florida; daughter Jo Ellen Barrow, husband John of Maryville; son Richard Ackerman Kook, wife Sarice of Canton, GA; son Christopher Jay Kook, wife Regina of Roseboro, NC; Grandchildren Sherri Barrow Baggett, Richard Henry Barrow, Heather Kook Cato, Richard Buchanan Kook, William Austin Phillips, Amanda Ellen Kook, and Andrew Christopher Kook; Great-grandchildren Campbell Leith Cato, Evan Matthew Cato, Emma Renee’ Barrow, Hannah Jo Barrow, and Marissa Leigh Barrow; and many other close family members.
