Rev. Mack Murphy

Rev. Mack Murphy, age 91 of Maryville, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 23, 2020 Summit View of Farragut. He was a retired Minister with 50 years of serving the Baptist Church Community. Mack was also a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company with over 30 years of service and a member of the 25-year club. Preceded in death by wife, Helen Burchfield Murphy, and 2nd wife, Mary Cummings; Son, Kent Murphy; Grandson, Brian Yoakum; 10 Brothers and Sisters. Survived by Daughter, Sheila Yoakum (Bill) of Maryville; Grandchildren, Maressa and Marty Potter of Maryville, Aaron and Emily Yoakum of Maryville, Connie Myers of Maryville, Tommy Yoakum of Florida; Great-Grandchildren, Jaimeson Yoakum, Henry and Jill Myers; Sister, Louise Headrick of Maryville; many Nieces and Nephews and other Family also survive.
